1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
and does not stand in the way of sinners,
and does not sit in the seat of scorners.
2 For his delight is with the laws of Yahweh,
and on his laws he meditates day and night.
3 And he will be like a tree planted by rivers of
waters,
which will bring forth its fruit in its season,
and whose leaf will not wither,
and all that he will do will prosper.
4 No so the wicked,
for they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgement,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
5 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked shall perish.
