Genesis 6

1 So it happened,
when the man began to multiply
upon the face of the ground,
2 and the sons of God
saw the daughters of man,
that they were good.
And took for themselves wives
from any that they chose.

3 And Yahweh [God] said,
"My spirit will not strive with man forever.
He is going astray in his flesh,
so his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
4 The Nephilim were in the land in those days.

And also after that,
when the sons of God came unto the
daughters of man,
and they bore to them those mighty men,
which from old were men of the Name.

5 Then Yahweh saw that
great was the wickedness of man in the land,
and that all the imagination of thoughts of his heart
was only wicked all the day.
6 So Yahweh repented
that he had made the man in the land,
and it grieved him in his heart.

7 So Yahweh said,
"I will blot out the man which I have created
from upon the face of the ground,
from man, to cattle, to creepers,
and to birds of the heavens,
for I repent that I made them."

8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Yahweh.

9 These are the generations of Noah:
Noah was a righteous man,
he was blameless in his generation.

Noah walked with God.
10 And Noah bore three sons,
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 But earth was corrupt before God.
And the earth was full of violence.
12 And God saw the earth,
and behold, it was corrupt,
for all flesh had corrupted his way
upon the earth

13 And God said to Noah,
"The ends of all flesh has come before me,
for the earth is full of violence because of them.
So I will corrupt the earth for them."

14 "Make for yourself an ark of goper wood.
You shall make rooms in the ark,
and pitch it inside and out with pitch.
15 And this is how you shall to make it--
three hundred cubits is the length of the ark,
fifty cubits the width,
and thirty cubits the height.
16 You shall make a window for the ark,
and you shall finish it to a cubit above.
And you shall make an opening in the side of the ark.
And you shall make a lower, a second, and a third.

17 And I, behold I,
will bring a flood of waters upon the earth,
to corrupt all flesh,
which has in it the breath of life,
from under the heavens.

All that are upon the earth will perish.

18 But I will uphold my covenant with you.

Then you will come into the ark,
you, and your sons and your wife,
and the wives of your sons with you.

19 And from everythying living,
from all flesh,
two of everything you shall bring into the ark,
to save them alive with you.
Male and female they shall be,
20 from birds after their kind,
and from cattle after their kind,
from all creepers on the ground after their kind.
Two of everything you shall bring to you
to save them alive.

21 And you,
take for you from all food that is eaten
and gather it to you.
And it will be for food for you and for them.
22 So Noah did.

According to all which God commanded him,
so he did.
