Priestly Intro
1 For the chief musician,
for David.
Southern War Song
In Yahweh is my Refuge.
How shall you say to my soul,
"Flee to your mountain, bird."
2 For behold,
the wicked bend the bow,
they make ready the arrow
upon the string,
to shoot in secret at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed,
what can the Righteous One do?
Yahweh is in his Holy Temple.
Yahweh is on his throne in the heavens.
4 His eyes will see,
his eyelids will judge the sons of man.
5 Yahweh defends the Righteous One.
But the wicked one,
and the one loving violence,
his soul hates.
6 He shall rain upon the wicked
coals of fire and brimstone.
And a horrible storm
is the portion of their cup.
7 For Yahweh is righteous.
He love the righteous.
The upright will behold his face.
