Priestly Intro
1 For the chief musician,
upon the flute,
a psalm for David.
Southern Royal Song
Give ear to my words, Yahweh,
consider my meditation.
2 Attend to the voice of my cry,
my King and my God,
for unto you will I pray.
3 Yahweh, in the morning,
you shall hear my voice.
In the morning I will direct to you,
and look up.
Priestly Justice
4 For you are not a God
who delights in
wickedness.
You will not abide evil.
5 The foolish will not stand in your eyes.
You hate all workers of iniquity.
6 Those that speak idolatry shall perish.
The man of blood and deceipt
Yahweh will abhor.
7 And by your great mercy
I will come into
your house.
I will worship toward your Holy Temple
in fear.
8 Yahweh, lead me in your righteousness,
because of my enemies.
Make your way straight before me.
9 For none are upright by
their own mouth.
Their insides are wicked.
Their throat is an open sepulchre.
With their tongue they flatter.
10 Destroy them, God!
Let them fall by their counsels.
In the greatness of their transgressions,
cast them out.
For they have rebelled against you.
11 For you shall bless the
Righteous One,
Yahweh,
as a Shield of favor,
shall surround him.
