Leviticus 19

1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Speak to the whole congregation of Israel,
and say to them,
'You shall be holy for I am holy,
Yahweh your God.

3 Everyone of you shall revere
his father and his mother,
and you shall keep my Sabbaths.
I am Yahweh your God.

4 You shall not turn to idols,
and you shall not make for yourselves
molten gods.
I am Yahweh your God.

5 And if you shall sacrifice
a sacrifice of peace to Yahweh,
for your own favor sacrifice it.
6 You shall eat it on the day you sacrifice it,
and on the next day.
But if any remains until the third day,
it shall be burned in the fire.
7 And surely if it is eaten on the third day,
it is an abomination,
it will not be favored.
8 And the one who eats it
will bear his own iniquity,
for he has profaned
the holy thing of Yahweh.
That soul shall be cut off
from his people.

9 And when you reap
the harvest of your land,
you shall not completely reap
to the corners of your field,
and you shall not glean
the gleanings of your harvest.
10 And you shall not pick bear
your vineyards,
and you shall not glean
the grapes of your vineyard.
You shall leave them
for the poor and the foreigner.
I am Yahweh your God.

nor profane the name of your God.
I am Yahweh.

nor you shall not rob him.
You shall not withhold the wages
of him who is hired among you
until the morning.
14 You shall not curse the deaf,
and before the blind
you shall not put a stumbling block,
but you shall fear your God.
I am Yahweh.

15 You shall not deal inquitously
in justice.
You shall not pardon
the face of the poor,
and you shall not honor
the face of the great.
You shall judge your neighbor
in righteousness.
16 You shall not go as a slanderer
among your people.
You shall not stand against
