Priestly Intro
1 For David, a psalm.
Josianic Reform Song
I will sing of love and justice,
to you, Yahweh, I will sing.
2 I will behave in an upright way.
When shall you come to me?
3 I will walk with an upright heart
in the midst of my house.
I will not set before my eyes
a wicked thing.
The work of those who turn aside I hate,
I will not let it cling to me.
4 The crooked heart will depart from me,
the wicked I will not know.
5 Who slanders his neighbor privately,
him I will cut off.
Haughty eyes and a proud heart,
him I will not tolerate.
6 My eyes are on the faithful of the land,
to dwell with me.
He that walks in the upright way,
he will serve me.
7 Will not dwell in the midst of my house
he that does deceipt.
He that tells lies
will not stay before my eyes.
8 In the morning I will root out
all the wicked of the land,
to cut off from the city of Yahweh
all the workers of iniquity.
