Priestly Intro
1 For David,
a psalm.
Southern Royal Blessing
An oracle of Yahweh for my Master.
"Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet!"
2 The scepter of your strength,
Yahweh will send forth out of Zion.
Reign in the midst of your enemies!
3 Let your people be willing on that day,
your brave in holy splendor,
from the womb of the morning for you,
the dew of your youth.
4 Yahweh has sworn and will not repent,
"You are a priest always,
upon my word,
my Righteous King."
5 The Master at your right hand
will strike kings in the day of his anger,
6 He will judge the nations,
he will fill up dead bodies,
he will wound the head
over many of the land.
7 He will drink from the brook on the way,
therefore his head will be exalted.
